
Salads
Apple are a very versatile fruit and can be used many different ways. Below are some scrumptious ways to enjoy them.

Apple Salad

Peel and chunk 4-5 medium apples (to prevent browning dip in pineapple juice)

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/3 cup sugar

1cup milk
Mix ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until thick. Pour mixture over apples in large bowl. Chill. Before serving, cover with cool whip and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Apple Snicker Salad

1-3.4oz package of instant butterscotch pudding
-
1 cup milk
-
6 oz. whipped cream topping
-
3 Apples (peeled and chunked)
-
6 regular Snicker candy bars chopped.
Mix pudding and milk, add apples and candy. Fold in the Cool Whip, chill to ready to serve. Enjoy!

Applesauce

8 apples - peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

1/2 cup water
-
3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Combine the apples and water in a slow cooker; cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir in the brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice; continue cooking another 30 minutes.

Apple & Sunflower
Seed Salad

2 apples–cored and cubed
-
½ cup sunflower seeds
-
1 head romaine lettuce–chopped
-
2 dill pickles–diced
-
2 tomatoes–diced
-
½ cup ranch style salad dressing
In a large bowl, mix together the apples, sunflower seeds, lettuce, pickles and tomato. Pour dressing on top, toss and enjoy!nds
